Cada pedida de mano es distinta, con su historia, su entorno y su forma de sorprender. Por eso, mi trabajo no se limita a hacer fotos: consiste en acompañar, planificar y cuidar cada detalle para que ese “sí, quiero” quede grabado para siempre de la forma más natural y auténtica posible. En San Sebastián, el clima cambia constantemente, y eso me obliga a leer el entorno con rapidez. Aprovecho las horas doradas, los reflejos del mar y la textura de las nubes para dar profundidad y emoción a las imágenes. No fuerzo nada: me dejo llevar por lo que sucede y busco el equilibrio entre técnica y sensibilidad.One of the most important aspects of my work is light. No dirijo ni interrumpo. La naturalidad de una pedida de mano se pierde si intento “colocar” a la pareja o repetir gestos. Por eso, me sitúo a cierta distancia y trabajo con objetivos que me permiten captar expresiones sin ser invasivo. Las lágrimas, las risas y los abrazos que surgen después de la propuesta son los que realmente cuentan la historia.My approach is entirely documentary. I don’t direct or interrupt. The authenticity of a proposal is lost if I try to “pose” the couple or repeat gestures. That’s why I position myself at a certain distance and work with lenses that allow me to capture expressions without being intrusive. The tears, laughter, and hugs that come after the proposal are what truly tell the story.Una vez terminado el momento, suelo sugerir una mini sesión posterior, más relajada. Ahí sí hay espacio para moverse, reír y dejar que la emoción continúe. Esas imágenes complementan perfectamente la historia de la pedida, mostrando cómo se sienten juntos justo después del gran paso.Once the moment is over, I usually suggest a short, more relaxed photo session. That’s when there’s room to move, laugh, and let the emotion continue. En ocasiones dependiendo el lugar utilizo el drone para dar un toque más cinematográfico al sesión de pareja y realizar algunos clips dinámicos.I work discreetly, ensuring the photographer’s presence goes unnoticed.
